Each year Alton Area BPW awards two scholarships for female attendees of Lewis and Clark Community College. THE POSTLEWAIT-BRUNJES SCHOLARSHIPS ¨ AWARD - $700 ($350 per semester) ¨ Two scholarships are awarded for tuition and fees and/or textbooks & supplies. · One award to female Lewis and Clark District high school senior · One award to female, 25 years of age or older who is entering or re-entering work force or who is seeking to improve her position. ¨ Applicant may enroll as a full-time or part-time student. ¨ One recommendation letter must be submitted. High school applicants must have the recommendation from a teacher or school counselor. ¨ Official copy of high school transcript and ACT score OR official college transcript must be submitted. ¨ Applications may be reviewed by the Alton Area BPW. ¨ Students receiving the MAP Grant and/or the Pell Grant are eligible for this award.
